The ultimate naughty treat!

This recipe is made for Nutella and Chocolate Lovers. This indulgent creamy chocolate filled cheesecake is enough to fill any chocolate craving. Made with a hazelnut and oreo base , and thick creamy dark chocolate and nutella cream cheese filling topped with fresh hazelnuts, crunchy oreo chunks and a slight zing brought by fresh strawberries, this recipe is a sure win for any famliy gathering or party! Made in less then 30 mins and only 3 hrs in the fridge then your cake is ready to go ! Enough for 8 servings and everyone leaves the party feeling happy and naughty!

For the crust
  1. 20 oreo cookies
  2. ΒΌ cup butter at room
  3. temperature
  4. ΒΌ cup hazelnuts
  5. 2-3 tbsp Nutella
For the filling
  1. 80 g (3 oz) bittersweet chocolate (you can use semi-sweet or milk chocolate if you're not a dark chocolate fan)
  2. 1 cup Nutella, divided into 2 portions
  3. 500 g (16-17 oz) cream cheese
For the topping
  1. Β½ cup hazelnuts, roughly chopped
  2. 3-4 oreo cookies, roughly chopped
Instructions
  1. To make the crust: Place all the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until the mixture resembles damp sand. Add more Nutella if you feel the mixture is too dry.
  2. Press the mixture evenly on the bottom and up the sides of a 20 cm (8 inch) springform pan, and set aside.
  3. To make the filling: Place one of the portions of Nutella into a bowl along with the chocolate.
  4. Melt in the microwave for around 1 minute, checking every 20 seconds and stirring in between until chocolate has melted completely.
  5. Beat in the remaining Nutella and cream cheese. Keep mixing and folding until the mixture resembles the consistency of chocolate mousse.
  6. Scrape the mixture onto the Oreo crust and spread it out evenly using a spatula or knife.
  7. Top with the Oreo and hazelnut chunks.
  8. Cover the cheesecake with cling film and place into the refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours, or overnight preferably.
  9. Serve wedges plain or with berries.
